Meta Wine is a new kind of wine company.

We produce amazing wines with our global network of winemaker partners. We are not married to a particular location or wine varietal. Our goal is to bring together all of the greatest wine varietals and styles, from their indigenous homes, to expose wine lovers to a new way of enjoying wine – with love!

We seek wine that is balanced and yet explodes with energy. The wine must be an exceptional representation of a varietal or style, expressive of both the terroir in which the fruit is grown, and the talents of the winemaker.

What’s so meta?

Meta began as an Ancient Greek word; a prefix that suggests a more comprehensive and transcendent abstraction of the word it modifies, in our case “wine.” Metaphysical is the overarching nature of the physical world around us. Metadata is data about data. Meta Wine brings wine back to its simplest abstract level: the wine itself.

Moving forward, the modern use of the word meta is as an adjective, suggesting something that is cleverly self-referential. Like a person making a personalized wine that is a reflection of their heart and soul, with a mirror on the label that reflects their own face when they look at the bottle. Whoa...that’s so meta!

The Meta Wine story is meta in itself, spanning all of the human stories of its supplier partners and beloved customers.
