Local-To-Local
Local-to-local is good for everyone — our winemakers, our customers, humanity and the planet. The efficient Meta Wine process to bring wine to market from the vine to the glass is also more environmentally-friendly and sustainable. In fact, the same efficiencies that make us green drive outstanding value for everyone that wants better wine at a better price.
For example, when wine is shipped in a case of bottles, the case contains just over 50% air between the glass and cardboard. When we ship wine in 1,000 liter containers as a consistent volume of liquid, we double our shipping efficiency, and cut both our shipping cost and our carbon footprint in half. We pass along these savings which allows us to offer such great prices and value.
Stop Short
Stopping short (that’s our move!) is one of the things that makes Meta Wine unique. We produce the wine itself, as in the delicious, beloved beverage, but stop short of putting it into a package or promoting it as a label or brand concept. Our customers buy the wine itself and we help them with their own packaging, branding and labeling. Customers love being able to buy wine in any way that they want: that’s their move!
Wine-on-tap is the smartest option for wine by-the-glass programs, just as draft beer programs operate and give the best quality and value at our favorite spots. Wine lovers know that the wine is fresher and better, because it’s not exposed oxygen.
